Acanthus Associates Ltd was formed by Nicky Thompson in 2009.
Nicky graduated from London University with a BA (Hons) in English and French and went on to study Media and Communication at Post-Graduate level after which she worked in radio and television as a researcher/presenter and professional actress.
For the past 15 years, she has worked as a Coach and Trainer in Personal Effectiveness and Business Communication.
Nicky’s areas of specialism include:

- Performance Management
Nicky has extensive experience of leading and working with cross cultural teams and has worked extensively in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and India. She believes in taking a holistic approach to training and personal development and is a qualified Life Coach.
HOW WE WORK WITH YOU:
The Acanthus Associates’ process is a 4-step journey which begins with consulting with you to understand you and your organisation so that we can fulfil your organisation’s training and development needs. Clients tell us this consultative approach is engaging and fun and the understanding this creates contributes to the success of the overall delivery.
Step two is the design of the programme – and we keep on checking in with you to make sure that the training will suit your unique development needs.
The third phase is the delivery of the programme – by trainers who will have an understanding of your business, your sector and who will have been involved with the design process.
And finally, we like to keep in touch. All our programmes are evaluated and we welcome feedback. We also discuss how we can support you on an on-going basis so that the learning is embedded in the culture of your organisation.
